Bob Simpson established our firm in 1968 as R.W. Simpson Notary Public. He was one of the first Notaries in British Columbia to practice exclusively as a Notary Public. What’s more, he was the first British Columbia Notary Public to draw mortgages for Canadian Chartered banks.
In 1981, his son Dean Simpson joined his father and practiced under the banner of Simpson and Simpson with Scott Simpson joining the family business in 1992. A move to our new location in 2007 came with a simplification of our partnership name to Simpson Notaries. Many of our long time clients, realtors and bankers still refer to us as Simpson and Simpson. Do we mind? Not a bit.
